The Particle Characterisation Interest Group of The Royal Society of Chemistry are holding a one day meeting on the topic of Image Analysis for particle characterisation on the 17th of June 2010 at the Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel near Castle Donington in Derbyshire. The location is conveniently located near junction 24 of the M1 and is readily accessible by car, rail (and taxi) and air (East Midlands airport is less than 2 miles away).
FOR THE POSTERS, the display panels are 580 mm wide x 700 mm high and they are in pairs. Hence, if you wish to bring a poster then you are invited to bring two poster printouts that can each fit within 580x700 mm. This will be deemed to be a single poster. There is no obligation to make two printouts, but we reserve the right to use the adjacent poster panel to you for another presentation.
During the event there is the option of making a short, 5 minute, oral presentation of your poster. This will take place just before lunch. If you wish to present a poster then please contact us to register your interest. There will be a small additional charge for poster presenters.
An example of the continuing interest and possibilities for the subject is illustrated below, which is a link to work shown on the popular web site YouTube:
They will also be stands and displays from companies providing image analysis equipment. If you require further information on how to book space at the meeting then please contact us
PSA 2011 is the flagship three day conference of the Group to be held in Edinburgh in September 2011.
