The Particle Characterisation Interest Group of The Royal Society of Chemistry are holding a one day meeting on the topic of Image Analysis for particle characterisation on the 17th of June 2010 at the Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel near Castle Donington in Derbyshire. The location is conveniently located near junction 24 of the M1 and is readily accessible by car, rail (and taxi) and air (East Midlands airport is less than 2 miles away).
FOR DIRECTIONS, Google Maps with Streetview can be accessed by this link. this link. Please note that the location is marked by the person on the map and not the marker point A.
If arriving by train then taxi, we recommend using Loughborough Rail station - as it has numerous taxis just outside the station building (8 miles). The neasrest station is East Midlands Parkway (6 miles), but taxis are less common - you may need to book one in advance. The hotel web pages are accessible here.
An example of the continuing interest and possibilities for the subject is illustrated below, which is a link to work shown on the popular web site YouTube:
They will also be stands and displays from companies providing image analysis equipment. If you require further information on how to book space at the meeting then please contact us
PSA 2011 is the flagship three day conference of the Group to be held in Edinburgh in September 2011.
