Image Analysis for Particle Characterisation

The Particle Characterisation Interest Group of The Royal Society of Chemistry are holding a one day meeting on the topic of Image Analysis for particle characterisation on the 17th of June 2010 at the Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel near Castle Donington in Derbyshire. The location is conveniently located near junction 24 of the M1 and is readily accessible by car, rail (and taxi) and air (East Midlands airport is less than 2 miles away).

Image analysis, and the techniques for using it for particle characterisation, have changed enormously over the recent decade and this meeting is an opportunity to come up-to-date on the different techniques, capabilities and possibilities for the future of the technique. The presenters are academics and practioners in the field, and the conference has a dedicated slot for research workers to present posters on their work and interest in the subject.

An example of the continuing interest and possibilities for the subject is illustrated below, which is a link to work shown on the popular web site YouTube:

There is an opportunity for delegates to present a poster on relevant research on the subject of image analysis. If you are interested please consult the poster web page for further information.

They will also be stands and displays from companies providing image analysis equipment. If you require further information on how to book space at the meeting then please contact us
